Auto Correct Car Care worked together with other independent automotive repair shops across the country to organize a charity duck race to benefit Kids Beating Cancer. The ducks traveled along a resort lazy river.
The Duck Race raised $20,000
The duck race occured during a yearly conference that continued to raise money.
The conference raised $70,656.20
We were happy to donate to local Finksburg Cub Scout Pack 395 to help them purchase grills for their annual fall camping trip. The camping trip had an attendance of over 100 members and family.
September was National Literacy Awareness Month. To recognize the importance of reading we donated books and delivered them to Ebb Valley Elementary School in Manchester. The school will use these books as prizes and incentives to encourage the children to read outside of the classroom. We selected titles in a wide variety of ages and interests. Research shows that children who start good reading habits in elemetary school become life long readers. We are proud to assist in facilitating this love of reading.
We participated in a donation drive to benefit K9s For Warriors. This organization provides service dogs to warriors suffereing from PTSD. We worked together with an automotive business group we are associated with, ATI. We are proud as a shop to have donated over $1000. As a group we collected $102,000.
